Wish-Is it Legit?

Hello everyone! I am finally back after a long break. Thank you so much for tuning in to this post. This week's topic is super interesting-at least to me..haha... and it involves the Wish app. I've seen it all over Facebook, ads on Youtube, ect. and to be completely honest, I was very skeptical at first. I'm all about budget buying, but whenever I see clothing apps or clothing ads on Facebook, I just never know if it will be a scam.  In case you didn't know, Wish is an app that sells suppppper cheap items, ranging from free to 10-16ish dollars. What I"m most interested in is their clothes.

Whenever you find a new place to shop, especially if its online, you always should do your research; search up reviews online, go on Youtube, or check out videos. That's just how you will know for sure you will get your money's worth. Unfortunately this takes up a lot of time.

Don't worry tho, a particular shopaholic (haha -> thats me) got you covered. I did all the research for you, and all you have to do is continue reading to find out my findings.

First lets share with you all what I got. I tried to buy a variety of items to make sure I cover all of my bases, from swimsuits to cute two piece outfits. I am confident that I got a few of the most worth it items on Wish. I'll just quickly list them below:

Here are my thoughts.


Shipping and Delivery:
Each item ships independently from one another. If you order 6 items from the site, all 6 items will come in separate packages. They also will also have different delivery times. Typically I receive my items in about 2 1/2- 3 weeks (the estimate delivery time is sometimes up to a month, but I usually receive it a little bit before.) Overall I don't mind the wait.

Quality:
Likewise quality is also hit and miss. Not all the items are great on the site. I've seen so many bad reviews online. However, if you really look through the site, you can find a few gems on there. Luckily for you I already did that for you. Everything that I showed you on the post I am happy about. The quality was better than I expected, and for such a low price,  I am not at all mad about it. Out of all the items I bought, I was only dissatisfied with one item (I'll give you more details later on in the next post).

Sizing:
Make sure you read the dimensions that the sellers provide. These are Asian sizing and are made for petite girls. As for me, I found that most of the items I bought fit me very well (this is probably because I am 5'2 and fairly small). I listed the details of the exact size I bought on the site as well as my own personal dimensions in inches. I also gave you all a try on picture so you know exactly how it fits on me. Keep in mind everyone's bodies are different. How it looks on me, may not be how it looks on you. However, you can use what I gave you here today as a guide if you decide to purchase on the site.

Pricing:
Here is a tip on items- sometimes multiple sellers will sell the same item for different prices. Just choose the cheapest one you can find, as long as their photos show the same item. Also you can get "group deals" where if you buy with another customer you will get a discount. Make sure you click on those two, it will usually save you 1 or 2 dollars. Also, make sure you check how much shipping cost. On this site, items ship separately. This also means you have to pay for shipping separately. Likewise with pricing, each seller will have their own shipping price. Make sure you look at them to ensure you are really getting the best deal. If one seller lists their item for $6 with $5 shipping, why not just buy the same item for $7 with $2 shipping.

Overall:
I definitely like the site, and really love everything that I've gotten from it. However, I am at a point where I feel like I've bought everything that I think is worth buying on the site. This may just be for me because I have a very distinct style that I like to wear, but do let me know if you all find something I may have missed.

Black and White Photo Meet

Hello everyone, how are you today. A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to organize a very special photography meet with a few of my friends in Davis. We wanted to keep it simple, a black and white theme in the Arboretum, and tried to find new unique ways to elevate the photos. Here is what we came up with.  Please ignore my awkward hand placement :D For my outfit, I wanted to look clean and chic. I found this distressed graphic tee on sale one day and knew I wanted to include it in one of my photo shoots. You can't really see it in the photo, but it is distressed on one side of the collar. Something very simple, but made the tee look very grunge and unique. I liked it. I layered underneath a black slip dress from Brandy Melville. Night Out

Welcome back everyone.  Temperatures are slowly dropping as we charge headfirst into the frosty winter weather. Today I am more than excited to share with you my all time favorite night out look . DIY Salon Perfect Nails - For Beginners!

Helloo, hope you all are doing well this week. Over the past couple of months, I have been super into doing my own nails.  A nice new set of nails just makes me feel so badass. Something about the uniformity and the shape once they're all done--oof! I love it. However, going out every couple of weeks for a new set or fill can get quite expensive. Shining, shining, shining. Wow is this statue spectacular.  This week I wanted to update you all on my visit to a newly built statue in Sacramento, Subtitled . All I can say that it is memorizing, unlike anything I have ever seen before. If you are ever in the area, stroll down the water front to find this amazing view.
